The UL mark is issued after certification of the product by third parties such as UL, an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organisation whose mission is to ensure that products conform to standards set by ANSI, the American National Standards Institute. UL certification is therefore a Quality and Safety mark and is required for products to be used in the United States and countries that make reference to the same standards.

The EAC mark is the Euroasian Conformity mark required for exporting products to the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan. It is comparable to the CE mark and refers to the declaration of compliancy to the technical standards required by the Eurasian Customs Union.
